Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch (Imperial Oatmeal Stout)

Appearance: Shit that’s a dark beer ;-) Very thick brown head.

Smell: Brisk. Musky. Dark chocolate. Coffee. Woody.

Taste: Almost oak like. Woody, kinda walnutty. Bitter – but not a hopped up bitterness. Dry. Chocolate covered coffee beans.

Drinkability: Heavy. Light, but crisp carbonation.

ABV: 10.9%

Serving Type: Bottle poured in goblet.

It’s like eating coffee beans. Delicious beer. Read the label though – this beer was made with some of the finest and most expensive coffee in the world…that was previously pooped out by civet cats. Seriously. Don’t let that deter you. Like the label reads – this is definitely a beer geeks beer! VERY dark. Full of flavors. Drink is on it’s own. Could be a meal in itself. Give it a shot!
