Star Brew Triple Wheat Ale “Wheatwine Style Ale”
WWED Grade: A-

Fire orange. Great head – bright white. Nice retention.
Smell: Apples. Light wheat/yeast. Floral esthers.

Slightly sweet with a hint of caramel. Definitely got a bitter bite at the end

YEAH!
Serving Type: 22oz poured in pint
Mmmm…this was goooood. Kinda
creamy to drink. They describe this as a smooth sherry-like “Wheatwine” style
ale. Playing off the Barleywine style I’d assume. Seems about accurate. A wheat
style beer with the bite of hops and alcohol found in Barleywines. You could easily
pair this with foods like most wheat beers. Salads, burgers, poultry – it’s
pretty versatile. But the 9.2% abv will certainly catch up to you faster than
your typical wheat beer (normally between 4.5 – 5.5). DRINK IT!
